Dr. Pragnesh Parmar is Additional Professor and Head, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Department, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bibinagar. His areas of expertise include Forensic and Medico-Legal experts, toxicologists, and Medical educators. He has published around 70 research articles in various National and International peer-reviewed journals, with a total of around 400 citations. He is working as a trainer for the Medical Officers of the Gujarat Government and has participated in 15 conferences, 25 workshops, and 28 CMEs.
He is a life member of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM), the Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (PAFMAT), the Indian Society of Toxicology (IST), the Noble Action Consortium for Progress in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (NACPFMT), the Karnataka Medico-legal Society (KAMLS), the Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology (INPAFO), the Academy of Health Profession Educators (AHPE), and the Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA). He completed his M.B.B.S. from Smt. N.H.L.M. Medical College, Ahmedabad, in 2007 and his MD-Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from Smt. N.H.L.M. Medical College, Ahmedabad,, in 2010. He also completed a FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research) fellowship at GSMC-KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and a PG Diploma in Health and Law at the Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA), Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
