Introduction to Forensic Thanatology

Forensic thanatology comprises the investigation of every phenomenon related to death performed through cadaveric exams. Forensic thanatology investigates the mechanisms and forensic aspects related to death, like body changes that accompany death and the post-mortem period. Forensic thanatology is known as the scientific study of death. it helps to determine the time since death, cause mode and manner of death, and so on.
