Silent Evidence: Questioned Documents Under Forensic Scrutiny is an interactive workshop conducted by SIFS India that introduces participants to the practical realities of forensic examination of documents and fingerprints. The session highlights how documents are scrutinized for authenticity, covering aspects such as handwriting behavior, signature verification, and identification of alterations or forgeries. In parallel, it examines the systematic approach to fingerprint analysis, focusing on pattern recognition, ridge detail evaluation, and comparison techniques used in forensic identification. By combining conceptual understanding with applied practices, this workshop helps participants develop critical observation, methodical analysis, and forensic reasoning skills required in real-world investigative scenarios.
