Advances in technology have touched every aspect of our lives and forensic examination is not an exception. Although the researchers have started working in the area of automated forensic examination in mid-80s, it was Daubert’s motion which forces forensic practitioners to seriously think of implementing automated methods in forensic examinations. The talk highlights computational methods in various forensic examinations. Moreover, current trends and challenges in automated forensic examination will also be discussed in detail during the deliberation.
