Prof. (Dr.) OP Jasuja
Dr. Om Prakash Jasuja is presently working as Professor & Head, Dept. of Forensic Science, RIMT University, Mandi Gobindgarh. He is Former Professor of Forensic science and Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Punjabi University Patiala India. He is Nominated by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to be a Member of the Forensic Science Advisory Committee (F-SAC) of the Directorate of Forensic Science, Government of India, New Delhi. National Award to our patent by Technology Innovation, Forecasting and Assessment Council(TIFAC), of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India,2013. He is Included in a group of scientists by DST, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, for an exposure visit to Israel in Nov. 2009. He was invited to attend a scientific meeting of the International Fingerprint Research Group at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland in June 2009. He was also Invited to lecture at the Division of Identification & Forensic Science (DIFS), Israel National Police HQ, Jerusalem, 2005, and Faculty of Forensic Medicine, Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey 2005. He got the Young Investigator Award for our Presentation at 14th IAFS, Tokyo, 1995.
