Dr. Subhasish Sahoo
Subhasish Sahoo is currently serving
as the Head of the Department of the DNA Profiling unit in the State Forensic
Science Laboratory, Bhubaneswar. He has done M.E. in Biotechnology from BITS
Pilani, Goa, and his B.Pharm from Biju Patnaik University of Technology,
Odisha. He possesses technical skills in the cell culture of handling the CHO cells,
maintaining primary cultures of A549 (Human Lungs Cancer), B16F10, and A375. He
is a trained professional in the applicability of various instruments and
chromatographic techniques. He has achieved Yellow Belt in
the ‘Six Sigma’ by Alpha Mindz trainers & Consultants Pvt Ltd. and a professional
diploma in Drug Design and Regulatory Affairs. He has attended numerous workshops
and seminars and presented papers in the domain of pharmaceutics. He has been an
active Life Member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association and ‘Pharma
Helpline Society’. He has numerous publications on his name in journals of
repute like the International Journal of Pharma & BioSciences, International
Journal of ChemTech Research, and more. He has been continuously engaged in various
extra-curricular activities throughout his academic course.
