Hemanta Kumar Panda
He served as a Fingerprint Expert in different Districts as well as in the State Finger Print Bureau of Odisha (1986 to December 2018). He was in-charge of the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) section of the State Fingerprint Bureau for a long period. He attended Training of Trainers (TOT) in 2005. In 1999, he passed the Footprint Examination. Also, he passed All India’s FingerPrint Expert’s Examination in 1985. He joined as Sub-inspector of Police in CID, Crime Branch, Odisha, Cuttack on 08.09.1982 having Science background in College career. He attended and participated in various Seminars and Conferences on Fingerprint Science. He has also rendered his service in Imparting Training on Fingerprint Science to Police Officers, Judicial Officers, etc. He has numerous publications under his name in International and National journals.
