Prof. (Dr.) Prashant Aggarwal
Dr. Prashant Agrawal is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Forensic Science, School of Allied Health Sciences at Sharda University. Prior to this, he has served as Professor Forensic Science and Head Academics at College of Traffic Management, Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE), Faridabad (Affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak) and Professor and Head, Division of Forensic Science, School of Basic & Applied Science, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, U.P. He has done Ph.D. in Forensic Science from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, U.P. in 2009 and M.Sc. in Forensic Science from Institute of Basic Sciences, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra in 2002. Dr. Prashant has research and teaching experience in the area of Forensic Science of over 17 years. He has more than 35 publications in National and International Journals in the areas of Forensic Chemistry, Toxicology, Fingerprints, etc. He has supervised 2 Ph.D. Students and more than 40 students have completed their M.Sc. Dissertation under his guidance. He has organized the National Conference on Forensic Science and Criminalistics Forensics Agora at Galgotias University in the years 2017 and 2018, National Symposium CDTS 2017 and many workshops on Crime Scene Investigation have been organized by him at Galgotias University. He has organized one seminar on the scope of M.Sc. Forensic Science Students in the private sector at CTM-IRTE in January 2020. He is a member of the Editorial board of several peer-reviewed Journals in the area of Forensic Science.
