Dr. Kusum Singal
Dr. Kusum Singal is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi since 2019. She completed her PhD in the year 2020 from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She did her M.Sc. in Forensic Science and BDS from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and was a gold medalist in her Masters. Her areas of interest include Applied research, Health care, Public health, Epidemiology, Forensic Science, Forensic Anthropology, Forensic Odontology, Neuro Forensics as well as Forensic Psychology. She was the SRF (from 2017 to 2019) and JRF (from 2015 to 2017) at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She also served as a part-time Dental Surgeon for a period of one year (from 2013 to 2014) at Balaji Dental Clinic in Jind, Haryana. From 2012 to 2013, she was the Junior Resident/ Tutor at PDM Dental College and Research Institute in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. She has received life memberships of IAFO (Indian Association of Forensic Odontology) and INPAFO (Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology). In addition to this, she is the Member of the National Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Forensic Odontology, Reviewer Team of Indian Journal of Dental Research (IJDR), Reviewer Team of Indian Journal of Dental Education, Assistant Editor of International Journal of Advanced Research and Development and also the Member of Reviewer Team of Forensic Science & Addiction Research (FSAR). She has several publications in National as well as International Journals.
