Dr. Ashish Badiye
Dr. Ashish Badiye is the Head of the Department and Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Dept. of Forensic Science, Government Institute of Forensic Science in Nagpur. He holds B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Forensic Science, alongside a UGC-NET-JRF (Forensic Science) qualification. He has published over 50 Papers in International Journals of repute. He has presented several Papers and Posters at various National and International conferences, seminars, etc., and won 15 Best Paper and Poster Presentation awards. His expertise has been shared through numerous invited talks, guest lectures, workshops, and training at various events, institutes, and universities. Additionally, he has imparted his knowledge to police officers, showcasing his extensive experience and skills in the field. He has played a key role in organizing Nagpur City Police Duty Meet 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2023. He also assists the Maharashtra Police in various aspects of Crime Scene Investigations. He has recently taken up the role of IQAC Coordinator of the Institute.
