Dr. Das Ambika Bharti is a postgraduate and doctorate in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University Varanasi, India. She has been working as Assistant Professor of psychology at Department of Psychological Sciences, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Bihar, since 2011. She is one of the founding faculty members of CUSB and played a key role in the establishment and development of the department. Her doctoral work is on the effectiveness of Positive interventions on the emotional growth of Cardiac patients. She has worked in the area of Positive Psychology and Health/Clinical Psychology. She has basic training Part-I on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has conducted various life skill workshops on “Behavioural skills for effective living” for UG and PG students of Psychology. She has been recipient of several best paper awards in various national and international conferences. In her short career she has credited research publications to her name in various national and international journals. She has supervised several MA dissertations and doctoral students in areas such as psychological wellbeing, coping, satisfaction with life among orphanages, women, youth, cancer patients etc. She is a life member of the National Academy of Psychology. She is also the editorial board member of the journal Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Science Publishing Group USA.
