Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohanty
Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohanty is currently working as Professor and HOD of Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology and as Dean of Examination at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. He has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has interest in the area such as Homicide and Toxicology. He was awarded 1 st position in scientific poster competition in XXVI Annual Conference of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine held at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun. He has membership of the various Associations such as Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Indian Society of Toxicology, Indian Medical Association, Geriatric Society of India, Karnataka Medico-legal Society. He has deposed evidence as an expert Medical witness through video conferencing to the Hon’ble Supreme Court at Darwin, Northern Territory of Australia in 2005. He has attended as Expert Observer in the National Snakebite Conference held at Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Ernakulam, sponsored by W.H.O. He was a Jury member for national level quiz competition for undergraduate (COMPOSMENTIS-2010) at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He is an Associate Editor of Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology. Also, he is a Member of National Editorial Advisory Board of South India Medico-Legal Journal. He has also published numerous research papers in the various National and International journals and wrote a Chapter in the Textbook of Sexual Medicine.
