Mohammad A. AlShamsi
Mohammad A. AlShamsi is the
Head of Firearms and Toolmarks Section of Dubai Police. He graduated from the
first INTERPOL Young Global Police Leaders Program in 2019. Mr. AlShamsi is a
member of numerous international associations such as the Association of
Firearms and Toolmarks Examiners AFTE where he is the point of contact for the
Middle-East and West-Asia region and a Certified Firearms and Toolmarks
Examiner FA/TM-AFTE. He is part of the International Association for Property
and Evidence IAPE where he is the representative for the Middle-East Region and
the first Certified Property and Evidence Specialist CPES in the Middle-East
and Asia. He is an Adjunct Faculty member at the International
Institute for Forensic & Security Studies and Amity University for the
Bachelors and Masters student in Forensic Science Ballistics and Advanced
Ballistics course; he has lectured and trained more than 2200 attendees in
events and training courses since the beginning of 2017 to date. In addition,
he is an External Viva examiner in the Firearms and Tool marks field for both
undergraduates and graduate students at institutions that teach forensic
science in the UAE.
