Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey joined State FSL, Sagar (Madhya Pradesh) as a Scientific Officer in May 2015 through MP Public Service Commission (MP PSC). Since then, he has been working in the Ballistics Division of the laboratory. Till date, he has reported more than 600 cases of a variety of natures. In Sep 2019, he was declared as an assistant chemical examiner to govt. of M.P. and reported cases of forensic ballistics independently. When needed, also visited a number of shooting incidents related to the scene of crime in various districts of M.P. as a ballistics expert. Also, he has experience of crime scene investigation of about six months in district Sagar (M.P.) which he visited on rotation basis from the Laboratory and investigated various crime spots of burning, drowning, hanging and road accident. He also deposed an expert witness in hon’ble court and based on his opinion/report, the accused was sentenced life imprisonment. In his professional career, He has got a number of commendation letters from director, SFSL Sagar, ADGP-Technical services, PHQ Bhopal, IGP and DIGP District/Division Sagar, M.P. for good professional work. In addition to this, he has published numerous papers in national as well as international publications.
