S. K. Sharma
Dr. Sandeep Kumar Sharma has been working with the police
department in Punjab for the past twenty seven years or so. After completing
his post graduations in Economics and Geography, he joined as Deputy
Superintendent of Police and served the police department in various capacities
including district head. Issues pertinent to crime are his prime areas of
interest. He has been awarded President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Services
and DGP’s Commendation disc thrice for his outstanding achievements. He completed
his Ph.D in year 2020 in Geography of Crime and published his book Reinventing
Urban Crime.
