Prof. (Dr.) Prateek Rastogi
Dr. Prateek Rastogi is working as Professor and Head, Dept. of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. He was a former Professor and Head of the Forensic medicine and toxicology department at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences, Gangtok and Former President Indian Society of Toxicology (2018-2019). He completed MBBS (2002) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and MD (2005) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal ( Under Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka) and various diplomas and certificate courses in medical domains, forensic science and criminal investigation to aid his knowledge. He has published 147 articles, participated in 76 conferences & 205 CMEs and workshops, presented 44 papers, and delivered 43 guest lectures at the national and international levels. Member and life member of 14 medical bodies, member of editorial & advisory board of 15 journals and 3 books, peer reviewer for 38 Journals in the medical field, contributed chapters to seven Forensic Medicine textbooks, published 16 e-books on amazon kindle and contributed in various capacities for 18 other e-books on amazon kindle. Awarded Young Investigator Award (Asia pacific Academic Consortium of Public Health) in 2010, certificate of appreciation for excellence in research & publications by KMC, Mangalore, certificate of appreciation for commitment as a member of the disaster management team in 2010 Air India mishap at Mangalore (Manipal University) Distinguished Alumni Award (KMC Mangalore) in 2015, recipient of felicitation by Akhil Bhartiya Harishchandra Vanshiya Mahasabha in 2016.
