Saddam Hussain
Saddam Hussain is a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Scientific Officer currently serving at the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science India Pvt. Ltd. (SIFS INDIA), Delhi. He holds a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science & Criminology from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Biotechnology from Bihar National College, Patna. With a strong academic foundation and practical exposure, he has developed extensive expertise in forensic key examination, crime scene investigation, and fire investigation. Saddam is proficient in using advanced forensic tools such as stereo microscopes, Zarbeco microscopes, digital vernier calipers, and various other analytical instruments, enabling him to conduct accurate and detailed forensic analyses.
Since joining SIFS INDIA in April 2023, he has been involved in examining a wide range of forensic cases, applying scientific techniques and protocols to assist in criminal investigations. His professional journey is further strengthened by multiple hands-on training experiences, including a three-month intensive program. Additionally, he has gained valuable laboratory experience through earlier training in pathology and diagnostic labs in Patna, and through a unique program on tissue culture and mushroom cultivation.
Beyond his practical work, Saddam has actively participated in national and international seminars and conferences aimed at expanding forensic knowledge and staying updated with advancements in the field.
