Dr. Sanjay Gupte
Dr. Sanjay Gupte has been in clinical practice for the past 40 years and is identified as a senior icon and the penultimate idol in the medical fraternity. He is the Director of Gupte Hospital and Centre for Research in Reproduction and GreenArray Genomic Research & Solutions. He has done MD, Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and LLB. He is a Fellow of the Indian College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. He was a professor at BJ Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. He is the Ethics committee Chair of The International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Secretary General World Gestosis Organization, Chairman Technical Research Committee of the Indian Council of Medical Research, National Coordinator National Eclampsia Registry, and National Consultant in the Medicolegal and Ethical Issues in Ob & Gyn. He is the Past President of The Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (2010) and Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Groups in India (2013). He is also the Ex-Chairman of the Ethics Committee, Maharashtra Medical Council, Ex-Member of the Central Supervisory Board of PCPNDT, Ex-Member of the Ethics Committee, Medical Council India, and Ex-Hon. Prof. & Post Graduate teacher Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was the recipient of Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, FRCOG (Honoris causa), 2010.
